Keyboardist and experimantalist Matthew Bourne with Glen Leach and Nika Ticciati, experiment with three damaged harpsichords, deploying a high level of musical intelligence – on CD 1 all playing together; very convincing and, sonically, not much like anything else you’ve ever heard while, on the second CD, the instruments are played seperately - and processed electronically in real time by a fourth participant, the results edited into a set of very listenable, sometimes extraordinary, pieces. But buy it for CD1. That’s a keeper.
