This now legendary book was originally published in a small edition in 1994 - $100 then, and currently fetching around a grand second-hand. To those essays - by Hartmut Geerken, Amiri Baraka, Chris Cutler, Robert L. Campbell, Salah Ragab, Sigrid Hauff, Robert Lax, Gabi Geist, Bernhard Heffle and Karl Heinz Kessler, the new edition in 2016 added a large folio of previously unpublished photographs, a fully revised discography by Chris Trent (co-author of The Earthly Recordings of Sun Ra), a comprehensive pictorial and annotated chronological discography, index lists of alphabetical titles, compositions, personnel and labels - and hundreds of new, full colour, album cover images (including numerous reproductions of rare hand drawn sleeves), posters, handbills and other ephemera. This new, limited, edition is updated with many pages (10 years-worth) of subsequent releases but omits Robert Lax's montage of quotations. While stocks last.                 -

Since it's large and heavy, I’m afraid we have to add something toward the extra postage:

UK £6, Europe £12.50, Rest of the world £18.
