Fascinating and extremely well realised impro-sition.. Frank Grau recorded the entire structure as a drum/percussion track and from there this complex piece was built up in the studio (Bass, Guitars, Mellophone, Accordion, Keyboards, Melodica, Saxophone and stranger sources) by Frank and a few others. The result has the energy and detail of improvisation and the dynamic shape, considered structure and clarity of a composition. An intelligent and productive procedure, excellently realised.
