FLYNT, HENRY: Raga Electric
Henry vocalises and plays guitar - hymn tune (1963), then four fairly extreme but fine vocal pieces (voice is the hardest instrument to make abstract sound convincingly with - Henry cracks it). Then an a clangy electric guitar raga with howling (1966). This gets pretty brutal. Finally a gruelling screech, harmonics and grunt alto solo (1964). An historic document but very, very real. Nice cover photo too.
